The Primer stage (Pre-K4 and Kindergarten) lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning and serves to prepare children to flourish in both the subsequent Grammar stage in particular and the collaborative model overall. Young students build phonemic awareness, numeracy, and a love of stories through songs, recitation, and hands-on play, all within a warm, structured, Christ-centered classroom environment.

At this age, both the child and the family benefit from establishing home day rhythms and familiarity with the curriculum that places the child in a position to thrive in the Grammar stage. Students in PK-4 will only have required work on campus school days.
