The Grammar stage (1st through 4th Grade) builds on the foundation of the early years, training students in the grammar of every subject: phonics and spelling, math facts, Latin roots, history timelines, and the building blocks of science. Memory work and recitation strengthen the mind for the reasoning years ahead.
