Redeemer Classical School of San Antonio was founded by a group of local parents, educators, and church members who share a conviction: that a Christ-centered, classical education, paired with a meaningful partnership between home and school, is what they desire for their children and something that would be a great service to other Christian families. They believed it was worth building from the ground up.

As they looked at the educational models available, these families were drawn to a 2-day-a-week, on-campus structure because it freed up more time for the beautiful, challenging, and rewarding duty and delight of discipling their own children, all within the context of a like-minded, supportive community, encouraged and guided by a committed Christian faculty and school staff. Those families started praying for the Lord's guidance and blessing in early 2026. They remain in prayer today and are now also planning and working in earnest.

One of the founding families had a close connection to a similarly structured classical school in Houston. That school's leadership and community have provided and continue to provide great support and guidance in the founding of RCS. We are grateful for the community of families walking this road with us as we prepare to open our doors in August 2027.
